Guy Wood is the Quality Manager of OSI Electronics UK. He was promoted from Quality Engineer, having joined the company in 2016.

“My main aim is the evolution of our Quality Management System (QMS) to a world class standard which will meet the demands of our global customers,” he says.
“This will be throughout the business, using data-driven key performance indicators with improvement activities to drive through an enhanced quality culture.
“As well as developing the QMS, new production introduction (NPI) using lean, right first time and 5S methodologies will be key in raising our production areas to the standard our customers require.”
There’s a lot of truth in the saying ‘A new broom sweeps clean’ and over the last year this has been very evident at OSIE UK in St Neots, Guy being its fifth new senior manager as the company pushes towards winning more business from OEMs.
